As you may know, I’m a big Housepets! fan. It’s the biggest inspiration for this comic, and I try to homage it whenever I can. And for this strip especifically, I wanted to pay homage to THIS Housepets! strip but with my take, since their themes are very similar (you know, artist’s block). So yeah, thanks to Housepets! for existing and to Rick Griffin for inspiring us.
